When visiting Gatlinburg you’ll find that there are both never-ending beautiful views and great spots for dining. We have put together 4 locations that allow you to enjoy both! Here are 4 of the best Gatlinburg restaurants with a view!

Gatlinburg SkyCenter

SkyDeck in Gatlinburg

Since the early 1950’s both guests and locals have been taking the iconic ride to the top of Crockett Mountain on the Gatlinburg SkyLift to take in the breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. When the fires of 2016 destroyed the SkyLift many were heartbroken due to the unforgettable memories that had been made over the years. However, today the Gatlinburg SkyLift is now the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park and not only is the best chair lift in town back, but it’s better than ever! At the top you’ll find the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge and never-ending views of the Smokies. You’ll also find the Gatlinburg SkyCenter, a great little spot for enjoying pizza, salads, wraps and ice cream treats while taking in the views. The second floor of the Gatlinburg SkyCenter includes a bar with spacious seating and is great for having a drink as you wait to watch a Smoky Mountain sunset!

The Peddler

Tucked away on the edge of downtown Gatlinburg is one of the top restaurants in town. Having a nice dinner at The Peddler Steakhouse is a tradition for many guests as well as locals. This Smokies favorite doesn’t offer up views of the rolling ridges of the Smoky Mountains, but they do have a fantastic setting along the river. Having a table along the riverside of the property adds to the ambiance of the experience and makes a romantic dinner with your sweetheart a little extra special. The Peddler offers up some of the best steaks in east Tennessee that are hand cut to order at your table. You’ll also find fresh rainbow trout, stuffed shrimp, blackened chicken and more on their menu. All of their entrees include the salad bar, a choice of a side dish and oven hot bread. If you’re spending a time of celebration in the Smokies or you’re just wanting to have a nice dinner with your loved ones, The Peddler is the perfect spot for both a traditional Smoky Mountain view and great food!

The Cliff Top Grill & Bar

You’ll have to visit Anakeesta to dine at this Gatlinburg spot with phenomenal views, but it’s well worth it! When it comes to dining and taking in a stunning landscape, The Cliff Top Grill & Bar is the top spot in town. Just a few of the items that you’ll find on the menu are a Mount LeConte burger, a strawberry salad, Ultimate Nachos and the Bucket of Bleu Chips that is a local favorite. While visiting Anakeesta you’ll also find spots like Pearl’s Pie in the Sky, The Bar at the Top of the World and in 2020 they’ll be adding on the Smokehouse Brewery with views of Mount LeConte. If you’re looking for a day of food, fun and incredible views, then Anakeesta needs to be on your Smokies bucket list!

The Greenbrier

The Greenbrier is an upscale, fine casual dining spot that is located on a gorgeous ridge in the Greenbrier area of the Smoky Mountains. A dining experience at this food and spirit outpost is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the area as well as the history of Gatlinburg and a delicious meal. Tucked away in the hills and surrounded by the serenity of the Smokies, you’ll forget that the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg is just minutes away. The Greenbrier serves up a wonderful selection of dry aged steaks and chops including New York Strip, lamb and Surf & Turf. Other menu items include chicken, salmon, rainbow trout options and more. The Greenbrier also has in stock some of the top spirits that you’ll find on our side of the Smokies.
