However, we have put together 4 of the best shops in downtown Gatlinburg to start you off! Each shop has a unique charm as well as a wide variety of items for you to take back home with you after your vacation in the Smokies.

All Sauced Up

All Sauced Up in Gatlinburg

If you love to entertain guests with culinary treats or just enjoy adding a little extra flavor to your own dishes then you’ll love All Sauced Up! You’ll find every flavor of syrup that you can imagine and old fashioned jams and jellies that you’ll be convinced came straight out of your Granny’s cupboard. If you’re planning on firing up the grill this summer, stop in and browse their sauces and seasonings. Needing some new gadgets for the kitchen? They have you covered with those as well. Located on the strip in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, All Sauced Up is a favorite among both guests and locals. Stop in and stock up on your next trip to the Smokies.

Nantahala Outdoor Center – NOC Gatlinburg

Located on the end of the Gatlinburg strip, just before entering the national park, the NOC couldn’t be in a better spot. They are a 18,0000 square foot store that is filled with everything you could possibly need for an outdoor adventure as well as locally made items and books. As their website states, they offer “gifts, gear and guidance”. You can shop for the items that you need for exploring on your own or you can sign up for a guided trip. One option for a guided trip is the “Smoky Mountain Adventure” where not only will get you get to explore the trails with a guide, but you’ll spend the morning rafting down the Pigeon River. Stop in at the NOC when you get to Gatlinburg and find the perfect adventure for you!

THE HOLLER – Ole Smoky Moonshine

In 2018 America’s most visited distillery had 4 million people walk through the doors of “The Holler”. They may be infamous for their moonshine but they have far more to offer than just never-ending flavors of corn in a jar. When visiting “The Holler” in downtown Gatlinburg the first thing you’ll notice is the stage that’s tucked away near the entrance. Ole Smoky has free live music every day as well as $5 moonshine samplings. Gifts, clothing, foods and more line the walls of the store. Planning a picnic in the park? Grab some of their Shiner’s Salsa or Spicy Bread & Butter Pickles to toss in the basket.

Doc’s Magic Shop

If you’re visiting Gatlinburg with children or just want to connect with the kid in you, stopping by Doc’s Magic Shop is a must! It’s a bit tucked away and often missed, but those that have wandered in the door will tell you that they never miss visiting the shop on future trips. Doc’s is located on the 2nd floor of the Baskins Square Mall where you’ll find daily free magic tricks and demonstrations as well as charming locals that you won’t soon forget. The next time you’re in the area, swing by and see what tricks are up Doc’s sleeves. You may even decide to leave as an inspiring magician yourself!
