A stay at our Gatlinburg hotel means being in a great central location for accessing some of the best attractions and areas of the Smokies. From our property you can be in downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park within minutes by taking a short drive or a ride on the Gatlinburg trolley. You’ll also have the option during your time with us to take a nice walk to numerous attractions. We’ve put together a list of 5 places you can walk to from our hotel to help you plan your next vacation in the Smokies!
Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf
Located directly in front of our hotel is Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf, one of the most loved putt putt spots in town! With two courses to choose from and 36 holes of fun and entertainment, it’s a great way to spend the afternoon with the entire family. Couples will also enjoy friendly competition during date night fun and all guests have the chance to win free games by getting a hole in one on the last putt!
Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster
The Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster is a family-friendly thrill ride that gives guests the opportunity to control their trip through the mountains at up to 30+ mph. They offer day and night rides, an unlimited 1-hour pass and an all day pass. You can purchase tickets online to avoid standing in line or at the ticket booth. Tip: Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster accepts competitor coupons at their ticket office.
Hillbilly Golf
Hillbilly Golf is a unique mini-golf location in town that includes a funicular ride up the hillside to their two courses. The scenery is beautiful, the property is well-kept and the staff are often praised in reviews for being extra friendly and helpful. When making your itinerary for a vacation in the Smokies, you can’t go wrong with adding a couple rounds of putt putt to the list!
Rowdy Bear Mountain Coaster
Are you ready to zip through the treetops of Gatlinburg? If so, take a stroll down to Rowdy Bear Mountain during your stay with us! The mountain alpine coaster gives you the chance to experience Rowdy Bear Mountain at speeds up to 35 mph and their mountain glider will allow you to “fly” through the trees in hang gliding style. Both adventures are sure to get your heart racing and pull you back for a visit time after time!
Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre
In 1977 Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre opened up in downtown Gatlinburg and they’ve been filling the town with tear-inducing laughter since that year! Quirky, hilarious and packed with old fashioned silly fun, a trip to the theatre is one that you won’t forget anytime soon! If you’re heading there on a date night, grab a nice dinner at Chesapeake’s Seafood and Raw Bar beforehand. When the show’s over, hop over to Ole Red for a couple drinks and great live music!
